The Guardian is reporting that the Charities Minister, Kevin Brennan, is refusing to commit to a fund to provide a lifeline to charities hit by the Icelandic bank collapse.
It is strange times indeed, when every sinew is strained by a Labour Government to bail out the banks, but charities are left to hope with a 'wait and see' strategy.
